Syncfony EU user consent policy
Over the past year, we were preparing Syncfony.com to meet the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the new data protection law coming into force on May 25, 2018. The GDPR affects European and non-European businesses using online advertising and measurement solutions when their sites and apps are accessed by users in the European Economic Area (EEA).

As a result of that activity, we are sharing more about our preparations for the GDPR, including our updated EU User Consent Policy, changes to our other policies, and changes to our products, to help both you and Syncfony.com meet the new requirements.

Syncfony’s EU User Consent Policy is being updated to reflect the new legal requirements of the GDPR. It sets out your responsibilities for making disclosures to and obtaining consent from, end-users of your sites and apps in the EEA. The policy is incorporated into the contracts for most Syncfony.com services globally.

As described in our Privacy Policy, when using Syncfony.com that incorporates this policy, certain disclosures must be given to and consent obtained from end users in the European Union where EU data protection law requires such disclosures and consents.

As part of these rules, you have the right to be forgotten which means complete deletion of all data includes your personal information from Syncfony.com. Because we offer that feature from the beginning of our service nothing was changed. When you are logged to your account you will find it under Account Termination in the account settings. Account termination leads to the immediate deletion of all associated data stored on Syncfony.com. The data will not be possible to recover. At the same time, we are ready to provide you with information about what data we recorded about you.

Personal data will be processed until the withdrawal of consent, or as long as necessary for the purposes described above, but for a maximum of five years. Before this period, we may contact you for the renewal of your consent; without your confirmation, your personal information will be permanently deleted.
